  • Ladies' Movie Night

The Women's Ministry is presenting a community wide event for ALL Ladies 10 and up on Sunday, September 17th.  We will be sponsoring a movie night, "Pilgrims Progress, Journey to Heaven". There will be free popcorn, drinks and candy until we run out.  Children under 10, it is up to the parent if they wish their child to view.  Although the movie is not rated, it does contain some violent scenes.  Please note that childcare will not be offered.  Doors open at 4:00 p.m., movie starts at 4:30 p.m.  There will be a question and answer session at the end of the movie.

Pilgrims Progress, Journey to Heaven, is set in the modern day.  The main character in the film, Christian (Daniel Kruse) is concerned about the well-being of his family after reading the Bible which says that the city will be destroyed by fire. It becomes a burden for him, but his family and friends reject the warnings in the Bible. He begins his journey to The Celestial City where he has been told that he will find safety from the coming destruction and relief from his burden.

  • Larry Dyer

Through prayerful consideration, KHBC Elders are presenting a unanimous decision of nomination of a previous Elder, Larry Dyer.  The Elders recommend to the Church body his reinstatement as an Elder at our Church.  We ask each member to fervently pray leading up to a congregational vote in three weeks.  Sunday August 13th we will vote on Larry Dyer's reinstatement as an Elder for our Church.  If anyone within the congregation has any scripture reason why Larry Dyer should not be reinstated as Elder, please bring that in writing to the Pastor within the next three weeks.

  • Student Life Camp

Our kids have gotten back from a week's worth of learning about Christ.  There were 5 kids that accepted Christ.  Pics coming soon!

  • Volunteer Opportunities

Now that the new year is upon us, we contemplate how we can do better for not just ourselves, but for others.  There are 86 Bible Versus that have called us to serve.  One of these is 2 Timothy 1:9 - He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

We encourage all of our Members to serve.  There are many opportunities within the church.  Please reach out to the following if you would like to participate.
